Pole as we see it today comes from a variety of origins and influences, including: China, India, Europe and America. Some even dating back as far as the 12th century, but it is still entertaining audiences around the world to this day!

All routines and moves on the pole require a huge amount of strength and stamina to perform, and are very impressive to see live.
